THIS SEEMS OVERWHELMING...

The sheer amount of perspectives and competing sources of advice on human wellbeing and performance can appear overwhelming. We simplify that for you and focus on your results. Our team and a wide network of research partners ensure that our services are built on a robust base of evidence.

ACHIEVING SUSTAINABLE CHANGE

Yes we will help you grow and solve what needs to be solved but we also equip you with tools that last forever. How? We integrate the core insights from research in psychology, leadership, and neuroscience—as well as our own research into a method of practical, meaningful, life changing action for you and/or your organization. Our methods encompass strategies that span from the belief systems and emotional patterns within an individual, to individual relationships, to group dynamics, to organizational and corporate culture.

TRIBUTE TO OUR INTELLECTUAL ANCESTORS

We extract the most practical and effective forms of strategic action and communication from a variety of disciplines: Ericksonian therapy, strategic family therapy, Human Needs Psychology, organizational psychology, neurolinguistics, psychology of influence, strategic studies, traditions of diplomacy and negotiation, game theory. Our work is also grounded in the work of the Gregory Bateson. We simplify what is mentioned above into programs that aren't confusing or intimidating. The programs are fun and equip you with tools to rebuild or remodel your life!

Who is Rob Watts...

Hello! I'd like to share a quick story: I have a twin brother so growing up I always used the word 'we'.  We're going to school, we're headed to the beach, you get the idea. It wasn't until first semester of college when my roommate pointed out that I always use the pronoun 'we' when I was simply talking about myself. I had never thought about it before. He was probably trying to figure out if I had multiple personality disorder.  Why am I mentioning this story because I think using the word we for years helped shaped my belief about the connectedness  we all share. I also  believe that for us to share our light with others we need to find it within ourselves first and that is what we are here to help you do.

I am a passionately curious person which has lead me on many fun adventures but at the core of it I'm always studying how we as human interact with ourselves and others. How and why do some achieve and others suffer. The study of our mind, body and soul ungracefully started when I was 20 years old ,in a small book store in Great Barrington, MA. I was skimming through a book on the history of baseball when I accidentally backed up and knocked over a book display of James Hillman's The Soul's Code.  I made a joke about having a bubble butt and started restacking the books. Of course I had to buy one. This was the day that I also learned that as Tony Robbins' has said, life happens for us not to us.  Back to the book -  I was elated thinking wow this talks about so many of the questions and ideas I've been exploring. So now thousands of hours, classes, books, degrees, later I hope to share my knowledge with you and make your life, business, family life as successful as the universe intends it to be!

Professionally: After graduation from James Madison University I started my career in finance ultimately migrating from the investment side of commercial real estate services to the debt side as a credit analyst and then commercial lender focusing on affordable housing.  My passion for understanding and exploring human performance lead me to grad school where I studied Leadership / Organizational Behavior at Georgetown University. I switched gears from finance to work as a Video Journalist / Editor in the TV news world working for CBS, ABC and NBC affiliates. They seem like very separate worlds but they both are about sharing stories.  Numbers are great storytellers it just seems most people don't look at them in that light. I've always been passionate about encourage and helping others achieve their best but had the limiting belief that I was too young to pursue it professionally. With the help of some self coaching and working with mentors I don't have that issue anymore, which is how we are here today!
